RUB COAT

Rubguard's RUB COAT for domestic use is patented product having patent No. 389301 and has been designed specially to protect exterior wall and horizontal surface from outside weather effect of rain and sun light with extra protection. RUB COAT is the best suitable for both previously painted surfaces and fresh masonry surfaces. Detailed application and TDS have been given as under.
PRODUCT INFORMATION:
- Type : A single pack, Rubber based coating.
- Uses : Water resistant finish for use in commercial and residential projects, Chemical factory buildings and offices, food factories and bottling plants, hospitals, clinics etc.
- Substrates : Can be applied to suitably prepared plaster surfaces.

CONDITIONS DURING APPLICATION :
The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 10 degree C and 3 degree C above the dew point of air, measured near the substrate. Good ventilation is required in confined areas to ensure proper drying. The moisture content in the substrate should not exceed 3% (by weight). The coating should not be exposed to oil, chemicals or mechanical stress until fully cured.

- Drying Times : Surface dry 1-2 hours and Through dry 6-10 hours
- Recot able : 12-16 hours in normal, ventilated conditions
- DFT : Min. 90 microns. Max. 100 microns per coat
HEALTH & SAFETY :
Avoid skin and eyes contact by wearing suitable overalls, gloves, goggles etc. Spillage on the skin should immediately be removed by through washing with water and soap. Eyes should be well flushed with water and medical attention sought immediately.
